Itinerary

Day 1: Can Tho - Xeo Quit - Long XUyen - Chau Doc

Pick up from your hotel. Visitors first will take the boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong (Bassac River). The boat trip later takes you to the Cai Rang and Phong Dien floating markets, which are the most traditional and busiest marketplaces in the region. Visitors will then visit the place where the traditional Vietnamese vermicelli soup is made - and hopefully be able to try some if they haven't already!

Then you will have the chance to roam into the local village to interact with the local people. Here, they have a chance to experience how to pass a "Monkey Bridge" which is contracted by o­nly o­ne piece of bamboo. After mastering the bridge, lunch will be served. Then we proceed to Chau Doc via Long Xuyen to visit the Thot Not bird sanctuary, and then checking in o­n arrival in Chau Doc. Admire the landscape from the Sam Mountain summit down to the Vietnamese - Cambodian border, and then visit the caved pagoda. Check in and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 2: Chau Doc - Phnom Penh

After breakfast visitors will take a rowing boat trip through the floating village to visit the fish farm to see how the Mekong Delta people raise fish o­n their floating houses. Visit the Cham minority with their traditional weaving village. Then it's onto a speed boat to head towards Phnom Penh. Arrive in the Cambodian capital at around 14:00 at the Sisowath tourist dock.
