Day 1: Can Tho - Chau Doc
Enjoy an early morning boat ride on the Mekong River to the bustling Cai Rang and Phong Dien floating markets thronged with buyers and sellers moving around in boats laden with farm products.
Taste seasonal fruit at a verdant orchard. Onwards to Chau Doc (120km) with a stop-over at Bang Lang Stork Sanctuary to view thousands of storks returning home at sunset. In the evening, take a pedicab ride to Lady Temple, full of exciting legends. O/N in Chau Doc.
Day 2: Chau Doc - Phnom Penh
07:00: After breakfast at the hotel, take a 2-hour boat trip to visit the floating fish farm and floating houses, Cham minority people and the weaving village. Transfer to the express boat for departure to Phnom Penh via Vinh Xuong (newly opened) border.
Boat schedule to Phnom Penh:
Departure: 08:30
Arrival: 13:30
Pick up and transfer to hotel. After a short rest, & lunch, we start sightseeing around the busiest city of Cambodia and pay a visit to the National Museum, Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, Independence Monument, Russian Market, & Wat Phnom. Then it's back to the hotel for dinner, then a free night to explore the city yourself or relax.
Day 3: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap
After breakfast at the hotel, air-con bus will depart to Siem Reap. The bus leaves Phnom Penh behind and crosses the Japanese Friendship Bridge to Kompong Thom, where you will stop for lunch and rest.
Check into hotel will happen on arrival. After a short rest, you can tour the small Circuit including Prasat Ravan, Banteay Dei, Srah Srang, Ta Prohm, Takeo, Thommanon, Chau Say, Tevoda. Then back to the hotel for dinner & a free evening to do as you please. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Siem Reap
In the morning, explore exquisite brick monuments such as Prasat Kravan, Pre Rup, Eastern Mebon, Neak Pean and Preah Khan. In the afternoon, visit Thommanon, Chau Say Tevoda and Ta Som Temple. Then enjoy the sunset from the top of Phnom Bakheng Hill with a panoramic view of the western Baray and Angkor Wat. O/N in Siem Reap.
